Qualified Dentists, Dental Hygienists & Dental Therapists are welcome to become members of the society:


As a member of the British Dental Bleaching Society you will be able to:

Regular Membership

As a regular member, you do not need to have attended an accredited course in tooth whitening. However, the BDBS recommends that you have attend courses or lectures about tooth whitening and have some knowledge before you carry out treatment for patients in general practice.

*Proof of any courses, lectures, seminars or continual professional development relating to tooth whitening is required on application of regular membership.

Annual Fees:

Dentist £120.00
Dental Hygienists & Dental Therapists £60.00

Gold Membership

As a gold member, you must have attended a BDBS accredited course in tooth whitening, these courses must include theory and hands-on elements. To retain gold membership, it is recommended that members update their knowledge every two years, by attending lectures, seminars or accredited courses.

*Proof of attendance, by way of a copy of the course certificate is required on application for gold membership.

Gold members are entitled to:

  • use the ‘BDBS’ logo on practice literature and stationary.
  • be listed on the ‘Find a Dentist’ page on the website.

Dentist £195.00
Dental Hygienists & Dental Therapists £95.00

Once payment is made (details on the registration form) you will receive a welcome pack with all the information you need as a new member and your certificate of membership.
