Advanced 2 Day Seminar and Hands-On Course

The course is organised by Dr Linda Greenwall and Aesthetic Seminars Ltd. This is a two day training seminar and hands-on for Gold membership accreditation with the British Dental Bleaching Society. After the completion of the course participants will be eligible for Gold Membership of the BDBS. The theoretical part of the course aims to teach about different Bleaching Techniques in general, discussing indications and contradictions for all types of bleaching, advantages/disadvantages, why do teeth discolour and types of tooth discoloration.

Participants will learn practical techniques in detail about home bleaching, power bleaching, internal bleaching, over the counter bleaching treatments, the current controversies in bleaching teeth, the current legal situation. Learn about Microabrasion; indications and advantages. The course will demonstrate how bleaching treatments can be incorporated into simple aesthetic dentistry and advanced restorative dentistry.

The theory will be followed by a full day of hands-on practice in all types of dental bleaching.

One Day Course in Tooth Whitening for Hygienists and Therapists

This one day course is specifically designed for Dental Hygienists and Therapists and consists of a morning of theory, covering the practical techniques of home bleaching and power bleaching. The course covers the legal aspects and the importance of working to a prescription from a referring dentist. The theory is followed by an afternoon of hands-on training on power whitening, home bleaching, taking impressions and clinical photography.

Knowledge is Power - Teeth Whitening Masterclass

Designed for dentists who want to build up their knowledge, confidence and skills to tackle dental bleaching through this intensive hands-on training.
Location: London

It starts at 9am and finishes about 5.30pm.
During the morning session Dr Chan will go through the basics of teeth whitening, the different methods and the safety of hydrogen peroxide.

Other items that will be covered will be case studies of tetracycline, aged and fluorosis. Also home whitening protocol, sensitivity and the patented tray design.
Dr Chan will discuss teamwork, marketing ideas, dealing with customer comfort and how to manage customer expectations.

The afternoon is all hands on with a model that we provide for the hands on training section.

We also provide a lunch for you, if you have any food allergies or do not eat certain foods please let me know beforehand and we can arrange this with the restaurant.
